Certified Professional in Energy Performance Contracting (CPE)
The Canadian Institute for Energy Training (CIET) offers the Certified Professional in Energy Performance Contracting (CPE) certification which consists of a total of six modules. It constitutes the base knowledge that is required to develop and operate an ESCO and is divided into a Core and a Technical curricula. Individuals that successfully complete all modules and exams receive the CPE certification delivered by CIET in collaboration with the energy efficiency consulting firm Econoler. Target Audience: • ESCO employees. • Engineering firms or professional firms specialized in energy efficiency. • Those interested to advance their career in the ESCO business.
