Dr. Gruenes received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1999. She has completed additional training in CAD/CAM dentistry and soft tissue laser and has trained with the world-famous Dawson Academy in dental occlusion and jaw joint relationships.

As a Diplomate with the Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Dentistry and founder of the Snoring and Sleep Apnea Center, Dr. Gruenes brings the most current knowledge, treatment, and services to her patients. She identifies sleep-disordered breathing via non-invasive airway assessment and provides management of the problem with Oral Appliance Therapy.

Only a physician is qualified to diagnose Sleep Apnea and only a dentist with proper training is qualified to create an Oral Appliance for the treatment of Sleep Apnea. Therefore Dr. Gruenes is teaming with local area physicians to identify and manage sleep-disordered breathing.
