Senda is a new Fair Trade athletic company that makes authentic and durable Fair Trade sportswear and sports balls, with designs and styles inspired by athletes from around the world. Fairtrade certification involves independent auditing of sports balls factories, to ensure that factory workers are paid fair wages for their labor, and enjoy proper working conditions. In addition to selling top quality sporting goods, Senda has a social mission to provide sports equipment to organizations using sports as a tool for social development.These will be organizations that address crucial social issues- like AIDS education, community building and gender equality. Senda's mission is to produce outstanding Fair Trade sports equipment that connects and benefits athletes, and to expand the benefits of sports to low income communities.
