Alternative Building Center, LLC

Alternative building Center (ABC) is owned and operated by Anna Lee and Hector Osorio. We realized the need for a supply store such as ABC when we were building a small cabin for ourselves. We wanted to minimize our environmental footprint by using as many green building materials as possible in the construction process. Throughout the process we found it very difficult to find green building materials within our local area; therefore, we had to resort to Internet shopping, which resulted in costly orders with long shipping periods. This experience led us to believe that a green building supply store was needed in our local community. Alternative Building Center is a green building retail store dedicated to supplying Humboldt County with the highest quality products from manufacturing companies that are dedicated to both environmental and social stewardship. It is our goal to seize this opportunity and become the most complete source for green building materials while maintaining a fun atmosphere for our customers and employees.
