The Agriculture Beyond Organic Verification (ABOV) certification is awarded to farms that go above and beyond traditional organic standards by implementing regenerative agriculture practices. Developed by ABOV, a Canadian non-profit organization, the certification recognizes operations that not only meet existing organic standards (such as the Canadian Organic Standards or USDA Organic) but also demonstrate active and measurable efforts to restore soil health, protect biodiversity, sequester carbon, and conserve water and other natural resources.
