Mark Callaway, Senior Vice President, The Callaway Boone Group

Service Provider in Atlanta, Georgia

Comprehensive investment planning has been Mark's focus throughout his 25-year career. He was a founder and President of Lamon-Callaway Financial Services, Inc. until 1989, when he was asked to open a branch office for The Robinson-Humphrey Company in LaGrange, Georgia. The Robinson Humphrey Company merged with Morgan Stanley* in 1996. Mark heads the processes in helping clients set investment objectives, develop an asset allocation strategy, make stock and fund selections, and establish ongoing monitoring and review standards. He focuses on risk analysis, diversification, and customized investment strategies. He is also a manager in the Guided Portfolio Management program and oversees the Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) portfolio. Having grown up in northern California, Mark has a keen interest in environmental and social issues, which led him to embrace the Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) movement in early 2000. Now as one of only a few Financial dvisors at Morgan Stanley* who is recognized as a "greenĀ financial advisory professional, Mark can provide financial strategies tailored to the unique needs of clients looking to include environmental/socially responsible investing as part of their portfolio. Mark brings a personal perspective to multi-generational planning and multifaceted issues that arise for families needing guidance in the area of legacy planning. Mark has served over 25 years as a third-generation trustee on two of the Callaway Family Foundations that were founded in the early 1900s. In addition, to help foster and pass on this appreciation for philanthropic involvement to his children, he created his own family foundation for which his four children currently serve with him as trustees. Mark also understands families with complex needs and issues. In particular, he understands the emotions of those families who have children with special needs, his third child having been born with cognitive developmental issues.
