Offsetters Climate Solutions Inc., formerly ERA Carbon Offsets Ltd., through its wholly owned subsidiary ERA Ecosystem Restoration Associates Inc., is developer and supplier of forestry-based carbon offsets to the carbon offset markets. The Companys primary business is the sale of carbon offset credits for commercial purposes in the voluntary offset market primarily through the development and supply of forestry based carbon offsets. As of December 31, 2011, the Company developed and sold over two million tones of forest-based carbon offsets. ERA has the capacity to assess carbon resource potentials, prescribe and implement ecosystem restorations to develop those resources, and thereby generate carbon offset products for sales directly with customers, or through brokers and re-sellers with whom ERA has established agreements. In December 2012, the Company acquired Offsetters Clean Technology Inc. (Offsetters) and Carbon Credit Corporation (CCC). For the nine months ended 30 September 2012, Offsetters Climate Solutions Inc. revenues decreased 75% to C$1.3M. Net loss decreased 24% to C$1.2M. Revenues reflect a decrease in demand for the Company's products and services due to unfavorable market conditions. Lower net loss reflects Management fees decrease of 28% to C$361K (expense), Share-based compensation decrease of 88% to C$14K (expense).
