Craig and Laurie Pelkey are the owners of Disaster Recovery Inc. based in Central Vermont. Together, while raising four children, they started Disaster Recovery in 2009, building the company one step at a time. Craig's hand on approach with all field work makes sure the client is receiving the most professional service possible. Our goal is to provide a service that we would want in our own home if we were in the same situation. Craig's background includes serving 4 years for the country in the USMC, several years working in a local factory and five years experience in the restoration industry drying/cleaning hundreds of homes and businesses in the Central and Southern Vermont. He is a certified restoration technician with the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration, known in the industry as the IICRC. He is also EPA certified for lead abatement. Disaster Recovery Inc. is an IICRC certified firm which requires us to maintain excellent standards as we provide these services to our clients. Laurie has a degree in radiation therapy and has treated cancer at the local community cancer center for fourteen years. With her background she has the knowledge to deal with most any disaster. Laurie has the major roll of all the behind the scenes documentation, payroll processing and book keeping. Together we make an excellent team that is well versed in any disaster situation, with our knowledge and background we are here to provide a necessary service to our fellow community members when they are facing a crisis situation at home or at the office.
