Under The Sleeping Buffalo (UTSB)

Under The Sleeping Buffalo Research is an environmental research firm. Incorporated in 1998, we are a registered not-for-profit company that provides research services and support to the public, businesses, government agencies, other not-for-profit groups, and all users of Canadian national parks. Our mission is to ensure the conservation of natural heritage in Canadas national parks and promote environmentally sustainable solutions for mountain communities. UTSB Research has been actively engaged in environmental education and advocacy efforts in Banff National Park for the past decade. We have no political affiliations and serve as an independent environmental monitor in Banff National Park.

Our vision is to ensure the long-term protection of the natural and cultural heritage of Banff National Park and to encourage advocacy thereof.
